MY LAST FLIGHT
When anyone talks about the last flight I am sure there is some amount of anguish and melancholy, which is but natural. I had the immense blessings of my Guru and my parents to have had the opportunity to serve AIR INDIA and be a part of every CSR duties. From operation Airlift where I have done eight flights, to organizing and assisting the art director for the film AIRLIFT when they had come to the mockup for the inside aircraft shot. I was the assistant flight purser way back in the early 90s ,I guess it was 1992 when I detected an explosive device on the food tray in the bulk food trolley in the first class as I was the assistant there, on AI 101 in Delhi. This was during the Khalistan movement. Along with me was Mr. Hemant Solanki who is no more today but I am greatly indebted to him as he really calmed me down and was with me for the entire 16 hours of grilling by various agencies.
